The development of Autism iHelp stemmed from the necessity for tailored language intervention resources for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, focusing on their strengths and challenges in expressive vocabulary.

Autism iHelp Opposites is designed to enhance fundamental vocabulary skills through various formats. By using authentic photographs, this application introduces learners to the concept of opposites. Understanding opposites is crucial for grasping notions of sameness and difference, as well as for recalling descriptive words essential for effective communication. Inclusion of opposites in a child's vocabulary aids in improving word retrieval and comprehension across all aspects of vocabulary usage. The app offers practice sessions featuring real-world images to identify different opposites simultaneously on-screen.
